Kelsey Cook received her Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Western Ontario. Prior to her physiotherapy degree, she completed her Bachelors of Kinesiology at the University of Victoria. Kelsey is a Certified Vestibular Therapist. She enjoys working with people with dizziness and balance issues. Additionally, she has
taken courses on post-concussion syndrome including learning about how contributions from the neck and vision can cause dizziness. She has a passion for working in vestibular rehabilitation because improving vestibular issues can really impact how someone can function day to day. Additionally, she enjoys working with people with neurological conditions like stroke, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and spinal cord injury. She finds importance in setting clients up with exercise programs to maximize their independence with exercises targeted at balance, dexterity, core strength, cardiovascular endurance, and coordination. To improve her skill set with working with people with neurological conditions, she has taken Bobath courses including an advanced course. Outside of work she enjoys Pilates, cycling, and hiking.
