Kirsty was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec. In 1995, Kirsty moved to BC for a summer, fell in love with the coast and never left. She completed her first undergraduate degree in Health Informatics in 2000 and her Bachelors degree in Physical therapy in 2005. She quickly developed a love of neurological rehabilitation and has experience working in this field with adult, adolescent and pediatric clients. Her previous work experience include 5 years working on various units at GF Strong, and 9 months working with the early intervention program and Victoria’s Queen Alexandra Centre for Children’s Health. Additionally, she has completed courses on the Bobath concept and vestibular rehabilitation.
In her spare time, Kirsty spends her time chasing her 3 young children around parks and swimming pools or snuggling with them on the couch. On those rare moments she gets time to herself, she enjoys running (slowly), playing hockey (badly), and being outdoors.
