Riley attended the University of Toronto, completing an Honours Bachelor of Science in Physiology and subsequently a Master of Science in Physical Therapy. Since graduation, Riley has furthered his practice with courses in manual therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, the Bobath concept. Passionate about neurological physiotherapy, Riley is involved with research at GF Strong Rehabilitation Centre and is a clinical skills assistant in the UBC Physical Therapy program. Riley is also involved in the Neurosciences Division and Physiotherapy Association of BC.
Outside of physiotherapy, Riley enjoys living an active outdoor lifestyle in Vancouver. He enjoys swimming, ultimate frisbee, and snowboarding. He has completed an Olympic triathlon, half-marathon, and the Tough Mudder obstacle course. Recently he has taken up trail running, completing the Whistler Comfortably Numb Trail Race (25km). Riley is always up for a challenge, and is currently taking suggestions for his next event!
