Jacqui graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and NASM certification in personal training. During her time at U of I, she worked for the Neurocognitive Kinesiology Laboratory assisting with research regarding the impact of exercise on cognition in children. She additionally worked with the Disability Resources and Education Services department implementing physiotherapy treatment programs and working as a care aide for individuals with neurological conditions.

Following her time at U of I, Jacqui completed her Master of Science in Physiotherapy at McMaster University.  During her time at McMaster, she gained valuable experience in a variety of clinical settings, including private practice, inpatient mental health, paediatrics, and acute trauma/spine.

Since graduating, Jacqui started working as a physiotherapist at Victoria General Hospital, primarily in acute medicine and neurological rehabilitation, in addition to joining the team at Neuromotion. Since 2017, she has been president of the board of directors of MOVE Adapted Fitness and Rehabilitation Society of B.C. – a non-profit organization dedicated to making physical activity and exercise accessible to individuals who may need additional support and adaptive equipment.

Jacqui has completed a certificate course through the Neuro-Developmental Treatment Association. The course provided advanced therapist training in assessment and treatment techniques specific to individuals with neurological conditions. Further continuing education courses include Bobath training, vestibular rehabilitation, concussion rehabilitation, PWR! certification (treatment approach for individuals with Parkinson's), functional dry needling, and training in use of equipment such as MyndMove and FES Ergometry.

Jacqui believes in a collaborative treatment approach; working in conjunction with clients toward achieving their goals. She utilizes therapeutic handling and task-specific training to assist clients as they drive their course of treatment through goal setting.
