Sarah received both her Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) (neuroscience and physiology, minor in kinesiology) and her Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) from the University of British Columbia. She has treated individuals of all age groups with a variety of neurological conditions, and has the advanced practiced certifications to provide pelvic floor physiotherapy for individuals experiencing urinary incontinence.
Sarah is an evidenced-based practitioner, having worked at the Blusson Spinal Cord Centre as part of Dr. Andrei Krassioukov’s team researching cerebral vascular changes after spinal cord injury. She has also practiced her communication and education skills designing recreational programming for and working with youth with special needs, and has lead hydrotherapy for adults with cerebral palsy at Stan Stronge Pool. Her experience in neurological physiotherapy includes placement at the GF Strong Rehabilitation Centre in the neuromusculoskeletal outpatient setting, treating adults with conditions including but not limited to polymyositis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), and multiple sclerosis (MS).
Sarah uses her treatment techniques to provide physical therapy that incorporates functional mobility, manual therapy, education and exercise prescription to provide an individualized treatment plan that suits each client she treats.

- Level 1 Manual Therapy Orthopaedic qualification from the Canadian Physiotherapy Association
- BCSportsAid Certification: sports first-aid, CPR-C and athletic taping
On her days off, you can find Sarah running (training for her next half-marathon), learning tennis or skiing; tell her what activities you love to do and she will be sure to customize your rehabilitation to include relevant movement and strengthening.
