Neurological Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy from a neurological perspective focuses on facilitating individuals living with neurological conditions to maximize and enable independence with meaningful activities and with all aspects of daily living. This may involve working on physical function and strengthening, addressing issues with memory and thinking, or working to reduce physical barriers to independence with tips, tricks or equipment. Treatment and goals are aimed at each individual’s unique needs and abilities and focus on optimizing and enabling functional independence.
